Full-Design-Example
The example below is a typical design for updating the landscaping of an existing home. There are modular block retaining walls (replacing old mortared concrete block walls, stairs, and a boulder wall at the rear of the property, a circular paver patio and full plantings. The house sits on a lot that has existing large trees on the sides and back of the lot that provide a lot of shade. The patio is positioned to be an entertaining and seating area central to the deck on the house and the back of the lot. With the amount of shade in the back yard, all of the plants have to be shade-loving plants. The front of the house is exposed to full sun. The plantings there are design for full sun exposure but give nice three seasonal color to brighten the front of the house.
